Popeyes: At least we still have The Sandwich

To celebrate Popeyes’ one-year anniversary of its Chicken Sandwich launch, we decided to bring to light something everyone can relate to right now: 2020, a year that no one could have seen coming.

Toilet paper shortage, homeschooling 24/7, murder hornets, Saharan dust storms, bubble seasons, favorite apps possibly getting banned – you name it. Luckily, whatever comes our way, we can always take a pause, breathe in and say at least we still have The Sandwich.

First, a countdown to 2021 by officially starting the times square ball drop… six months early.

We then ran a full page ad in the New York Times.
